Lesson 1

* Forces : is any push or pull.

* Normal Force : the support force exerted upon an object that is in contact with another stable object.

* Friction: is the force exerted by a surface as an object moves across it or makes an effort to move across it.

* Static Friction: results when the surfaces of two objects are at rest relative to one another and a force exists on one of the objects to set it into motion relative to the other object.

*Kinetic Friction:  results when an object slides across a surface. As an example, consider pushing a box across a floor.

*mass : quantity that is solely dependent upon the inertia of an object.

*inertia:the resistance an object has to a change in its state of motion.

Lesson 2

*Newtons First Law/ Law of Inertia:An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.

*Free Body Diagram: are diagrams used to show the relative magnitude and direction of all forces acting upon an object in a given situation.

Lesson 3:

*Net Force:is the vector sum of all the forces that act upon an object.

weight :

*Newton`s second law:The acceleration of an object as produced by a net force is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force, in the same direction as the net force, and inversely proportional to the mass of the object

Lesson 4:

*Newton`s Third Law:the resistance an object has to a change in its state of motion.
