Curriculum Expectations

The main ideas is to gain understanding---so you can demonstrate this knowledge---knowledge of electricity, electron flow, and the principles of magnetism.  You learn to understand the interaction between these, and how electricity is generated and roles electricity and magnetism play in some common technologies, such as electric motors.

Of course, you'll need to show you can solve problems, both qualitative and quantitative by applying these principles and knowledge.  As usual, you'll also explore implications for society and the environment related to electricity and magnetism; however, in this course the focus will be on power generation and ideas for sustainable methods for electrical energy production.
