Lesson 2: Kinetic and Potential Energy
To introduce this lesson, a fun video featuring Wile E Coyote is used to demonstrate the application of kinetic and potential energy.
After this introduction, the class works through a teacher guided note that covers the following topics: Relating Work to Energy, Gravitational Potential Energy and the Properties of Energy. Following the note, practice problems are provided for the students.
To finish the class students are tasked with theorizing how potential and kinetic energy can be related in their science journal.
