Lesson 4: Review and Quiz
This lesson begins with an interactive demonstration called "Energy Skate Park" which can be found below. This game provides a student friendly platform for reviewing concepts learned in the previous class.
In this review class, each student is given a definition or example. Using a post-it note, they record everything they know about that topic and present their findings to the class prior to adding it to a communal bristolboard.
Following the review, students ae required to complete a quiz (or assignment) that reflects their learning to this point. Students who finish early can play the game "Castle Defenders" and use their science journal to make connections between the game and conservation of energy.
